As a special tribute to Joan Shelk, DNA Past President and the developer of our first phototherapy workshops, The Joan Shelk Fundamentals of Ultraviolet Phototherapy Workshop is an intensive one day training designed for those administering light therapy under a provider’s supervision. The workshop covers psoriasis and other photo-responsive skin diseases; PUVA, narrow band and broad band UVB therapy; equipment operation and metering, and other responsibilities associated with phototherapy administration.
